Executive Function & Movement Group
This group is a structured, evidence-informed intervention designed to support children on the autism spectrum by integrating cognitive skill-building with gross motor and sensory-motor activities. This group targets core executive function challenges—such as attention regulation, cognitive flexibility, inhibition, working memory, and emotional self-control—through playful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate movement-based experiences.
Kids will:
Learn executive function strategies to support learning and independence
Learn executive function strategies in a group setting to promote socialization
Practice movement to strengthen motor coordination & body awareness
